Welcome to Thailand!

They obviously knew Blipbear was coming!

Just settling down to get some sleep after our longest day yet. Two flights and three different time zones, absolutely no idea how long we have been on the go but I do know we were up at 5.00am in Auckland and arrived in Bangkok at nearly 8.00pm.

We spent nearly 5 hours in Sydney airport before flying out over the Blue Mountains, clearer than when we saw them 5 weeks ago and then about four hours of seeing nothing but The Great Sandy Desert before we hit the coast of Northern Australia. It really does make you realise how vast and empty a country it is.

So glad to get to our hotel. This is our Riverside View in the 30th floor. Pretty impressive without the fireworks, though Chris hasn't dared step out onto the balcony yet he watched from inside. He is asleep now and I'm going to join him. ( Oh and although it was dark when we arrived it was 30 degrees C!)
