The morning consisted of my usual 10km loop up the coast and back; and then a visit to a supermarket with Alex.

The afternoon was similarly low key; I managed another supermarket visit (they're growing lads, dontchyaknow?) before Tom scuttled out with his mates to forage and hang out; Alex and I met him at Ainslie Park. Ignoring the lure of City v Dortmund, Real v Liverpool, Ayr v Dundee and even the Binos v Albion Rovers, and sought to watch local team Embra City (2nd in League 2) v Annan Athletic (7th)
The wind didn't help, but Annan looked comfortable against Embra for the 45 minutes we watched from atop our container of choice. As the sun set and the cold wind started to bite, we gave up on the 2nd half (1-1 in the end) and settled for warmth and the 2nd half of Norwich 7 Huddersfield 0.
