Strathconon in the mist

Set off today to climb a couple of corbetts (Scottish hills between 2,500 and 2,999 feet) in Strathconon. As my blip shows it wasn't looking very promising, but we decided to give it a go. However the higher we went the less we could see so after an hour and half we decided to cut our losses and head back to the car. The views from the Strathconon hills on a good day are apparently fabulous so we'll save that walk for when the sun is shining!

We stopped in Strathpeffer on the way back and went for a walk up Knockfarrell, also known as the Cat's Back, so we did manage to get some more exercise before heading for the coffee shop in Dingwall! Good choice ... the carrot cake was delicious!
