Wide Wednesday . . . Double Take
On Sunday morning I did do a double take when I saw this power box on the side of the road. They used to be everywhere when I lived in Rotorua and was starting on blip. There aren't many around here. Today I made a special trip back to get it for today's challenge. It is recently painted by Natalia Chaplin who is a young Nelson artist whose paintings have strong environmental themes. Inside the letters she has painted scenes from around our area, the sea and native plants. Aroha means love in Maori and can also be a female christian name. Lucky a bike came by to add some interest and it was a blue bike to match the painting.
Thanks to Bob for keeping it wide on Wednesdays.
