Cherry Blossoms

Tonight we drove up to see the cherry blossoms around the tidal basin in DC. They are past prime, but still pretty. We lucked out with a parking space next to the Washington Monument, near the tidal basin. There were fewer people than usual, but there was still a very huge crowd! I took a ton of photos. My husband likes this one best. 
In the extras are a couple of views that were fun. One is of a couple who dressed in their very best pink to match the blossoms. They had a pro photographer shooting them with the blossoms. The second extra is of a tulip garden that Lady Bird Johnson had planted under the blossoms. It was as packed with people as was the walk around the tidal basin.
