Stirling.

Since MaggieD had an opticians appointment this morning, I had a legitimate reason to drive to Stirling. While MaggieD was in the opticians, I took Chloe for a long stroll around the Old Town and up to the Castle. The twin photos above show the Castle with an almost completely empty car park. This would usually, over the Easter weekend, be stuffed with tourists and tour coaches. The bottom shot is looking along the Ochils to the east.
Otherwise, we have done not a lot. Andrew dropped in for a brief visit and a cuddle with Chloe and later MaggieD and I took Chloe along the canal. We were mostly sheltered from the wind by an overgrown hedge and our stroll was really rather pleasant in the sunshine. 
After all that walking, Chloe is now knackered and and snuggled up on MaggieD’s lap!
