Snow Blossom

A working day, which turned out to be particularly interesting after receiving information that called into question whether a certain business, which had only reopened after 29th March had jumped the gun and should still be closed.  The difficult with this type of situation is the impact our decision would have on that business and all of the people that have made bookings over the next week.  It's pretty much a no-win situation.  I went out to the site and discussed it with the manager on site to get his side of things.  We've decided to discuss with other local authorities with similar businesses in their area to see what they think.  That will happen tomorrow.

By the time I'd visited the site, updated colleagues and done some further research on the legislation it was late into the afternoon, just as the snow came down thick and fast outside.  While this tree is a winter flowering it has bloomed again and watching the snow starting to coat the blossoms I just liked the contradiction.
