Sparrow

but not of the 'hawk' variety this evening! I have been watching out for the sparrowhawk this evening but no sign of her - maybe the chilly mad weather has put her off! 

A mix of sunshine and snow showers again here today! Some nice sunshine lured me into the garden this morning to investigate the compost bin, and was very pleased to have about 15 bucket fulls of lovely earth to mulch parts of the garden with! We're now tempted to get another compost bin but need to work out where we can put it!

Birds have been on a feeding frenzy today so must have topped up the bird table about 4 times in all! They've either all got large families back in nests they need to feed, or the lack of natural food available to them is decreasing :(
