Lunch By The Library

This mural, representing aspects of Street, is on the wall near the entrance to the local Library and was proving a handy lunch spot for these local students today.

I was trying my hand (literally) at taking shots without the Vibration Reduction switched on, to see whether I could take sharp shots without; I'm thinking of getting a 18 - 250mm lens but can't really justify the expense of one with built in VR so was thinking of getting a cheaper one without: any thoughts / advice gratefully received!
