This morning I decided to treat myself to a walk up Gowbarrow, I say treat as parking is expensive. I thought the meter would have a card reader but you either had to pay by cash or download an app and pay by your phone, I don't do phone payments and I couldn't have even if I wanted to as there is no phone signal until you're up the fell so I went for the old school cash option, my spare change supply could only afford 2 hours of parking and that cost £4.50, I managed the 5 mile walk and came back by Aira force and was only 11 mins late. My next fell walk will be back to £3 honesty box parking. When I got back home it started to snow for a little bit, I think I got the best weather this morning in the sun.
