Autumn Pep

Its been a big day - up very early to empty part of pantry, pictures off the walls, and other odds and sods.....the decorators were here just after 7.30 and cranked into the jobs in hand.  Plastics rolled out over the floors, covers over furniture - you get the picture I'm sure.
Doug and I disappeared mid morning to take a case of prints to the courier, and took the opportunity to call into a café for a coffee and foods.  After all, we breakfasted very early.

This afternoon our Monday afternoon group of friends met out at Pleasant Point (oldTimers town).  We met at the park and golf course with the intent of photographing the autumn trees.  Weird season, some have passed, others just coming.   The best tree is the one I have blipped, it had reds among the yellows.  Nice.  I've put another one in xtra, and the other extra is taken at the cemetery where we stopped off before enjoying oldTimer's hospitality at her home.
A lovely afternoon and just what was needed.  

Then the  best news, a non quarantine Bubble was announced this afternoon with Australia,  up and running from 19th April.  So, Townsville here we come....but not until we have been vaccinated.  Great news.
