Marsden Rock
Trip down memory lane today!
First stop South Shields, holiday location for me in the 60's. Then a drive along the coast to Marsden Rock. We used to walk to Marsden Rock from South Shields with my grandma when we were kids and loved it!
The rock is still home to sea bird colonies, with thousands of pairs of Black-legged Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Gulls and Cormorants.
Then on to Newcastle to visit my Great Aunt Nancy.
Then back for Sauna and a swim ... Heaven!
