I was visiting this site today to approve it as a store of derived product under the current Animal By-Products Regulation. This material has been composted the the National Standard at a tunnel composting facility near Wrexham before being moved here for at least 8 further weeks to mature on this bunded concrete apron. The windrows get turned weekly and usually reach over 50 degrees centigrade in the middle of each windrow.
