Cerise

Woke to snow flurries.  Contrast to yesterday. Took Murray for a walk after breakfast in lovely sunshine but biting wind. Still beautiful blue sky and puffy scudding clouds.  Main is a shrub with small blooms of a deep pink.  I believe it's a Japanese quince (chaenomeles japonica), but I'm very happy to be corrected.  
After lunch started working on a dog double  portrait commission until time to prepare dinner.
