Stormy Skies, Ashdown Forest

A young Scots Pine beneath stormy skies on Ashdown Forest, not far above the Airman's Grave, at 13:09 today - not long before snowflakes started drifting in on the fairly stiff north easterly breeze!

About a couple of hours earlier, towards the start of our walk, our faces had been stung by a couple of flurries of hail. Now, outside, at around 18:22, there is bright sunshine and not a cloud in the sky.
