Steep Church

This blip is actually four days early, but in another way not. The war poet Edward Thomas was killed in action on 9th April 1917, which was Easter Monday.
A memorial window in Steep Church, where he lived until 1916, created by Lawrence Whistler, was damaged in 2010. The light was in the wrong place to get a decent photo of the replacement today, but this is the original that was pieced together and preserved. You can see the interior of this lovely church in the reflection.
