Ground prepared

This year I am venturing into the exciting world of vegetable gardening. Impatient to be planting seeds but a little frost due so I dig over the ground, the over with a Dutch hoe and then raked. I will be taking a go either the flow, suck it and see approach but do have some books to tell me when to put things in and when to take them out.
