got this email from blipcentral re yesterday's blip and why it was suspended:

Blipfoto is a personal photographic journal - the idea is to go out and take a photograph every day. To maintain that principle, we specifically disallow overlaid text on images and uploading of graphic designs, screengrabs, etc.
We try to moderate with a light touch, and will usually tolerate individual entries which stretch this rule. However, when a contributor repeatedly posts images which we feel aren't suitable for the site, or we receive complaints from other contributors, we will intervene.
We understand that all the elements in your image were photographed today, but we're not concerned about the process - it's the end result which matters. In this particular case, the end result was more of a graphic design than a photograph.

to be honest, i'm surprised i got away with it this long..but i'm besotted by this type of imaging at the moment. does anybody know of any suitable alternatives to blip that i could use ?
