A Yellow Rose for Easter

They said it would be cold today and they weren’t kidding. It was so cold and the wind was so eye wateringly icy that it made made my walk into town very unpleasant.

Later, hoping that the sun had warmed the world up, I took to two wheels but that proved even colder- time to call it a day and retreat behind the door to admire the sun through the windows.

Two days ago, I was sitting outside in a Tshirt and today I’m sitting inside wearing a down jacket but I consider myself lucky not to live further north where it is even colder and snowing. April madness.
