Mud flats, Nelson

Interesting isn't it - years ago mud flats were yukky, smelly, dirty looking places. Nowadays they are respected, preserved and enhanced for the wildlife that live there. They are now beautiful, changing, tidal seething masses of life.

Beyond is the lovely city of Nelson
