Clooney’s cupboard

Early light on the walnut wardrobe we bought from Arezzo antique market at the end of the season in 2019. It comes from the town of Lecco on the Lago di Como where George Clooney has one of his four Como villas.

The cold front sweeping down across central and eastern Europe has not yet reached us. It arrives sometime after midnight tonight. But temperatures are already falling. The cherries, plums and pears are all in blossom. Hopefully they will weather this last blast of winter.
