"Blizzard"

This is my recent painting, ready for framing and entering into a local exhibition.

I painted it from a photograph I found in one of Mr H's photographic magazines.

I have become increasingly aware of copyright issues and although I am an amateur artist, painting mostly for pleasure, if I intend exhibiting a painting, I like to contact the photographer to get permission.

Cai Priestley specialises in wildlife and nature photography. Have a look at his work. I think it is amazing!

I am pleased with my painting, but I am not happy with the photograph I have taken of my painting. I guess just using the 'auto' setting is not enough? Oh no, I think I may have to be brave and load up the instruction CD!
