Easter Day...

We prepared for communion at church this morning. There were 34 of us there for the half hour service, socially distanced inside but able to mix outside afterwards. It was good to see folk for real again! A friend made the amazing floral arrangement which is now outside the building for anyone passing by to enjoy.

Then home to watch the online service before Big Sis joined us for Sunday roast. It was then Boat Race time! Good old Cambridge won both races. We seem to have had another sofa day which combined with even very small Easter eggs, left us feeling decidedly stodgy....

My extra shows Esmée, rather pleased with her findings after an egg hunt this afternoon. We had FaceTime with her later. Apparently she had told their neighbour yesterday that she was going out in her plastic car to buy chocolate and beer! So looking forward to seeing her next weekend.
