Another day, another dog

Think daughter is sick of being on her own and messaged me last night to ask if we could do something today. We went for a walk and then sat in our garden, it was sunny and quite warm. I was going to make cobbler for dinner and she doesn’t like that so looked in the fridge and made a baked aubergine curry. The dogs played in the garden but Ruby, her dog, prefers to sit on human laps. It was brilliant to have her with us all afternoon and into the evening.
