Easter morning

Thinking that the weather would be a repeat of yesterday I set off very early for a shortish circuit around Dams to Darnley. Just few friendly dog walkers, and runners about. I came back on the other side of the burn and found a pond I didn’t know was there – it was just large enough to give these swans an appropriate amount of space. When I got back to the car there were fewer cars than there had been when I arrived at 8.
Sadly there was quite a bit litter strewn here and there, the aftermath of yesterdays glorious sunshine. Buckfast wine must still be a thing.
A detour to M&S to get the papers and more of their delicious hot cross buns which we had for a late Easter breakfast.
