Happy Easter

I was taken aback when my neighbour, tumble dryer man, presented me with an Easter egg yesterday! The first one I have been given for fifty years at least, and I was thrilled to bits. It's so sweet, I can't bring myself to break into it! He really is a nice man, it's just that the sight and sound of the b tumble dryer outside my back door is hard to tolerate.
After a frosty start, it's turned into a gorgeous day and I spent a very pleasant hour reading in the garden late morning, when all was quiet and still.
Cooking a roast chicken and all the usual things that go with it for dinner later..happy Easter everyone x
