Job well done!!

I shamed myself by posting this blip, back in November, with a plan to start the clear up in January.

16 bags of shredded paper, 3 boot loads of journals and 3 bags of clothing later, all the cupboards, hidey holes and space under the desk have been cleared. It is now fit for the different purposes that are a part of retirement.

Since planning this blip we have had news about G'dad. We were aware that he wasn't as well as he has been and planned to go over to Worcestershire tomorrow, but a call after lunch has changed our plans.

R has left school, booked accommodation for tonight, collected the dogs and is on her way over now.

B is at the dentist having been up most of the night with toothache. I've got most bits and pieces ready to pack in the car as soon as B gets home.

With a bit of luck we should get there between 9-10pm.
