There were a few dogs in the forest and we couldn’t go down the usual side of the river because they are laying new drainage pipes so we crossed over the wee bridge and took a wander down the other side.

We found this memorial stone set into a pillar with nothing much around it apart from garden walls. Intrigued, I came across this explanation

Other than this wee discovery, Arnie played some tennis and I had a long but unproductive shopping outing looking for gifts for a certain persons birthday. I found both things online when I got home and reminded myself why I prefer not to go to the mall.
