Faith, Hope and Social Distancing
Today was a wonderfully warm bright sunny day.
The Blipfoto shows the sun shining through our stain glass windows. They were bright and sparkling. The photo gives a good impression.
The grey shadow in the centre window is that of a tree.
After breakfast we took a trip to the West Sands at St Andrews and headed around the point on foot to see the estuary to the Eden.
The extra shows very few people on the beach apart from Pat.
The second extra gives a possible explanation to the reason why.
It is actually quite a distance from the town.
After our walk Pat thought a "carry out" from the Tailend fish restaurant was a good plan.
They have an app for that. Pat booked the menu and sent the order off, payment made.
Back came the reply that the goodies could be picked up in 15 minutes.
Everything worked out well. We drove back to the beach and ate some of the very large portions before taking the remainder home for an evening meal.
I then began gardening in earnest. The first task is to cut the grass and also the wild garlic. The mower was properly marinated.
