Daffodils for Easter

I hope you are all having a good weekend despite the restrictions.

The daffodils are now blooming beautifully and hope they stand up to to the incoming weather tomorrow. It’s a good feeling to see them over the Easter weekend, I’m sure this is something to do with childhood memories of Easter eggs, new clothes and sunshine, sounds about right doesn’t it, (bet my brother has a very different memory of it all.....). Church played quite a big part in our childhood, mostly on the catholic side but also the local village church, one of those lovely 12/13th C buildings with a castle mound near by and where mum and dad are buried.

Grey boy arrived home after a couple nights away, Jack was so pleased to see him and rewarded with a big head wash, he adored it.
