Street Volleyball

My son and his family who now live in Christchurch in the South Island work hard to keep in contact with all their close North Island friends and their families that they’ve known since boarding school and varsity days. This Easter they have holidayed next door at Hermione Cottage at Lake Tarawera and 4 other families ( their friends) have rented nearby baches and we’ve had a series of potluck dinners for 30 odd at Hermione Cottage each evening.
There’s a great collection of their own children now and late this afternoon they were all playing volleyball over our street fence! It’s a quiet lane ...ish and just gentle accommodating traffic going down to the boat ramp. So much fun .
