Garden chairs.

We had an old diseased Horse Chestnut tree cut down last year. It was terribly sad to see this ancient tree being slowly dismantled limb by limb but it would have caused damage in a really strong wind so had to go.
As the pile of logs grew and grew I started to wonder where we would keep them all. The girth of the trunk was enormous and when the last 20' of trunk was felled I had this idea.
I'd seen a bench in Austria made from a tree trunk and could have made two like that but fancied a sociable group around a table better. It's in my front garden which faces west so it will be a lovely spot to share a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down come summer..
I may need a few cushions.. :-)
