We don't know how well he can see it, but he knows it's there! He's showing all the restraint he can muster not to help himself to the milk foam on top....probably because he knows he'll get it when I finish the coffee.

We are going to an Easter brunch tomorrow. It will be the same people we canceled on for Thanksgiving when they had Thanksgiving dinner outside . The difference now is that we've had our vaccinations and most of them have too. Will might be the only young person who hasn't actually had Covid. He will be eligible for a shot in a couple of weeks.

If the papers are to be believed it will be a  race between the supply and the variants which have now been detected in nearby counties. Nevertheless, there is a feeling of optimism that we will slowly begin to take up activities we haven't done in over a year . I began by getting an appointment with my old hairdresser last week. She said she is only taking back her "nice" clients and only does a few haircuts a month, but has been sweeping up more hair than she used to in a year. See extra for the pile I left behind....
