Mr Q and I set off early (ish) on the bikes and stopped off at Carbeth for bacon rolls and coffee before it got too busy. We headed up towards Burncrooks Reservoir hoping to cycle over to the Kilpatricks but a very muddy, boggy path stopped us and we changed direction. It’s an adventure that will need to wait. 

Mum came round later for a garden visit and we sat and blethered in the sun. I even put up the bunting!

Mr Q had ordered a surprise dinner from Two Fat Ladies to celebrate our anniversary, which was fantastic.
