Reunion

Went out early (for us) at 10:30 to buy a baguette for Mr B. Unbelievably the Hungarian baker had sold out of all bread.

Walked up and down Southbourne, bought the flowers in my blip to take to M&H later, then home for a salad.

In the afternoon, Invited for tea in the garden chez M&H. Our first ‘reunion’ at friends for months. She’d made a wonderful ‘Pastiera’ (Neapolitan Easter Cake), and a vegan lemon drizzle cake for me.

Just been dealing with a flurry of Happy Easter messages from Italian friends. Shall switch off now and relax.
