Peace and Quiet

Yesterday's meet up in glorious Grisedale was special, but it was also clear that huge numbers of people are descending on the Lakes for the Easter Break. Cars parked everywhere, lots and lots of tents, generally, chaos.

So today we stayed immediately local and had a late lazy loop of Sunbiggin.
A (literally) freezing start turned into a stunning day again. We barely saw a soul, just a couple of distant road bikes and a old gentleman watching the birds, so peaceful ticked. Quiet is a however a stretch as the air in currently alive with the sound of skylarks and curlews.. And a large bellowing/whooping bird we couldn't see.
