Acton Square

During the long and frustrating process of buying the house in Salford with the Minx, I used to try not to dwell too much on all the things that I thought I would like about living there. One of those was sitting on the benches on Acton Square in the sunshine.

This evening we had our very good friend Dom and my daughter Hannah 'round for drinks and pizza in the garden. When I arrived, late afternoon, the Minx was out shopping and then picking up Hannah, so Dom and I sat in the square in the sunshine and it was even more lovely than I had allowed myself to hope it might be.
