not such a bad view to wake up to... early morning over the mountains, the air clear enough to see the holy ridge in the background, a series of 3000m plus peaks... today spent taking the trail up zhenshan, not so long a trail and only a 500m climb but at 2000m you feel it until you acclimatise a bit... from the summit the view was a combination of rising mist and low cloud... but it was fairly odd to find yourself wandering through temperate broad leafed woodland, odd and familiar...
