What a stunner of a Good Friday. Factor 50 required ( Ireland’s ozone layer is dangerously thin apparently at this time of the year)?
Short but very nice ride at Barnaprk with Susan, Daisy decided the squawking pheasant was a deadly threat and got ready to bolt every time we walked near where it had been, silly mare, but then redeemed herself with beautiful transitions and canter.
Called over to see my riding friends temporary emergency grazing , the horses have eaten everything in it in record time ( they have a hay bell too and are def not starving ) even tho it looks pretty dreadful (extra pic)
3 ladies and their dogs took a socially distanced stroll through the forestry and up the lane, it was stunning . Good for the soul and the human connection.
Forecast is amazing for next few days so I decided it’s time to actually sleep in the camper, we’ve had plenty of lovely walking trips out and made coffee , breakfasts and lunches in it but haven’t actually slept in it !! In all honesty it’s been a bit cold for me
( wimp)!! It’ll be pretty cool in the early hours but we have a heater if needed and a huge warm quilt, hot water bottles, hats and PJs ! Too much ? We can’t go far because of 5 km restrictions but have the ideal destination in mind . We can travel around the county as of Monday week and are already looking forward to making plans for a night here and there :0)
