Zip

The zip on Frida’s crate was broken. We managed to buy a big long zip, and then Jills sewing machine (given to her by her parents when she was 16!) broke a part. Searched the Internet and found the part which eventally arrived. Then a friend who was a machinist, and used to make tents etc helped her put in the new part...it took them several hours!
However, today it worked a charm, and Frida’s crate is now repaired and ready for her tonight!

Apart from walking this morning, it’s been an at home, catching up day. 
We met some friends and went and saw the movie “The Father”. Antony Hopkins was brilliant . A harrowing film about dementia from the viewpoint of the person with it. A very interesting, and thought provoking perspective
