Tomorrow

I had thought we might check out Enlighten tonight and have plenty of possible blips but my husband and child were against me!

Our son is away at camp, and the rats are ready to play.

I arrived home to the news that Im was in L's room tidying up ? ! ? ! Tidying up ? ? ? She was indeed in his room, but she only seemed to have got to the stage of messing it up. And jumping on his bed (forbidden by Big Brother).

From there, it was on to pizza (one of his most hated foods) and a movie (I am a cinephile with a cinephobe for a son). I use the term cinephile loosely, since the movie we watched was Annie which is serving as the inspiration for my daughter's choir. The last time I saw it was as a teenager, accompanying my littlest sister (then also 7), and living in fear that someone might observe me at such a shameful event.

Both times the experience wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated.

Apparently, we are watching it again tomorrow ? ! ? ! ! ! !

Now my little moshling is tucked up in bed (big brother's bed), and singing out the usual complaints. I am transforming into Miss Hannigan.

Well, there's always tomorrow.
