Mailbox

A rural mailbox with personality.  Silly eh!  But good for Admirers Silly Saturday. 

Loved how these these two ducks sitting on a picket fence have been painted with the friendly greeting to the mailman.  Painted on one side is the man of the place on a tractor, the other side is the lady of the place on a horse.  All very meaningful.  
We returned the big trailer we had used for the wood cartage to its owners this morning.  This is their mailbox, I thought worthy of blip stardom. 
Apart from that very little has happened around here....we were ready for a quiet day and that is what we have had.

Daylight saving comes off overnight, that surely means winter is eminent.
