Starfish

This 10-legged starfishwas stranded on the sand. It was a hot day and someone carrying their thongs used them to try to shepherd it gently back into the water. It still didn't try to move off to deeper water. I hope it got away safely in the end. I took several clear shots of it but I liked this one with the movement of water over it the best.
