The Survivor

I went for a walk in the green space near my home this evening and this little tree caught my attention.   The sun was going down and was shining directly on it, making it look so special standing all alone in the rocks.   I will call it a survivor, as it survived through the winter, but I'm afraid it did not choose a very good place to put down it's roots.   Maybe I'll look the next time I'm there to see what can be done to help it along.
