Fo(u)rth

Gorgeous morning but very cold. Didn’t rush to get up, but then headed out for some morning rolls and home for breakfast of bacon rolls and coffee before doing a clean up with my new home made kitchen cupboard cleaner (my goodness the levels of excitement of lockdown life!)
V dropped round to leave the car and then walk home with her friend A, and I headed down to  Joppa for a long tide-out walk along the beach and back ...a good 6 miles in total but I really will have to get back to the hip exercises I think....lot of aching. I was listening to another Val McDermid as I walked...bit of light crime relief between more heavyweight books!
Stopped at the supermarket on the way home and then had a quiet late afternoon on the sofa. Having seen Ammonite last weekend I decided to watch another Francis Lee film...God’s Own Country. Similarly brooding, tough physical film, but with a more upbeat ending.
An evening with a quiet supper and some TV. It’s been lovely today, and has felt like a Saturday all day, so it’s good to feel there’s another Saturday coming up tomorrow!
