Harbinger of Spring

It isn't that sharp a photo but it was taken through the windscreen of the car. I've been expecting to see one of these Wheatears for a fortnight now and today was the day - and less that 300m from home.
These little birds - c20g - spend the winter south of the Sahara in Africa and the summer in Greenland. Quite a journey getting from one to the other.
Drinks around at friends on their balcony this evening - outside of course - but a sheltered suntrap.
I even put an hour in on the hammock and so the seasons are moving on.
