Flower Friday: Spring Blossom

It looks gorgeous outside - lovely sunshine and blue skies.  Sadly its not as warm as recently and the breeze means that it is actually quite cold.  You definitely wouldn't want to sit outside unless you were well wrapped up.

Good Friday and our fish supper is partially prepared for later on once we've enjoyed a Zoom meeting with Cathy's brother and his wife.  I wanted to get a head start on it, as we are having a curried fish dish using a Mother India recipe and there's quite a bit of preparation required.  Cathy has been busy making the Simnal Cake - I must admit that I'm really looking forward to being able to try a slice in a few days time - it smells fantastic.
