Speaking Of Reading Material ...

This has to be some sort of record.  It would seem that the Carrier Pigeon is not, in fact, extinct.  I know this because I received this issue of Country Life magazine in yesterday afternoon's post.  You will notice from the date on the cover that it took almost FIVE MONTHS to arrive in my mailbox, which surely must mean that it was transported across the storm-tossed Atlantic by one very brave, very determined bird -- how else to explain such a delay?
