Constructing the Set

Our Arts Crentre is presenting "The Studio" (or L'atelier as it's called in French). Montréal's Bouge de là Dance Co. is a dance/theatre company devoted to new work for young audiences.

Choreographer Hélène Langevin has created an exploration of the connections between dance and such 20th Century painters as Renee Magritte, Jackson Pollock, Jean Dubuffet, the Abstract Expressionists and Pop Art.

Here we are building the set. A lot of fun. I have taken some 800+ time lapse images building the set and will combine these with video taken today and some of the performance tomorrow.
