I love leek flowers. In spring I transplant left-over leeks from the vegetable garden to the flower garden. The purple flowers last for many weeks, with a seemingly endless supply of nectar that attracts the most interesting insects. The seed heads stay fresh for months. The plants can hold their own among big neighbours such as angelica and fennel.
